Graduation show / Exposition de diplôme

My graduation show was conceived around the last line of Paul Celan’s poem, Spät und Tief, in which he writes “Let what has never been come / Let a man come from a grave”. These verses are the wish of a person who desperately wants to be connected to everything, or to the whole that represent life and humanity. It is the call of a person who wants to be able to feel everything, to experience everything: from the slightest tremor to the greatest contradiction. It is a fundamental desire for totality and access to the immensity of life. And it is a desire I share as an individual and as an artist.
With my graduation show, I want to take you into the space where my desire for totality is expressed. This space is a forest, both real and symbolic, in which you will find neither quite dead nor quite alive bodies. It is an invitation to wait with me for what has never been to come, for a man to come from a grave.

Mon grand projet a été pensé autour des derniers vers du poème de Paul Celan, Spät und Tief, dans lequel il écrit « que vienne ce qui n’a jamais été. / Que vienne un homme d’une tombe. ».
Ces vers sont le vœu d’une personne qui cherche désespérément à être liée à tout, ou au tout que représentent la vie et l’humanité. C’est l’appel lancé par une personne qui veut pouvoir tout ressentir, tout vivre : du moindre frémissement à la plus grande contradiction. C’est un désir fondamental de totalité et d’accès à l’immensité de la vie. Et c’est un désir que je partage en tant qu’individu et en tant qu’artiste.
Avec mon projet de diplôme, je veux vous emmener dans l’espace où s’exprime mon désir de totalité. Cet espace est une forêt, à la fois réelle et symbolique, dans laquelle se trouvent des corps ni tout à fait morts, ni tout à fait vivants. Il est une invitation à attendre avec moi « que vienne ce qui n’a jamais été. / Que vienne un homme d’une tombe. »
